FTC Affiliate Disclosure Compliance Rules
The Federal Trade Commission released its rules back in 2015 for Disclosure Compliance.
They set this rule to ensure that readers of web media are aware of the blogger or publisher is sponsored, or partnered with any company. A publisher always sponsored his content to earn with it so he can keep writing. This rule ensures the readers need to know if the content publisher is making money by sharing any link or by publishing any ad.
In compliance with the FTC Disclosure Rules, please assume the following about links and posts in this site:
Any/all the links on AskGazebo.com are affiliate links. For these links, we receive a small compensation from sales of certain items.
What Are Affiliate Links?
AskGazebo provides a detailed review and buyers guide for small products. It makes all the purchases on external company websites. If any reader wants to purchase any item after reading an article from this site, he clicks on the affiliate link on AskGazebo.com to navigate to the seller directly, there he buys the items (not from AskGazebo).
Amazon and/or other companies pay AskGazebo a small commission for helping to bring customers to their website.
Please note that: All the prices are exactly the same for readers whether they purchase through an affiliate link or a non-affiliate link. It doesn’t matter for reader how they navigate to the item, the price for that product will be the same. So, price does not change by clicking an affiliate link.
AskGazebo uses two major types of affiliate programs, which are:
1. Amazon Affiliate
AskGazebo.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Amazon’s Affiliate Program provides a means to the sites which link with it. This help sites to keep reviewing products. We earn some affiliate commission from qualifying purchases as we are an Amazon Associate.
2. Product Affiliate Links
If you buy any product by clicking the product’s affiliate link, then we will get a percentage of the sale. There may also some other compensation.
As mentioned above, prices will not different if you use these affiliate links. You will not pay more while purchasing the product if you navigate to the product through these affiliate links. Also, these links are not “pay per click” links.
